COVID-19 information page

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and its possible complications a special quarantine regime has been declared in Azerbaijan from March 24 to April 20. In accordance with the rules of the special regime, entry and exit to Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron is restricted, except for the movement of special purpose vehicles, people over the age of 65 are not allowed to leave their homes, and citizens are not allowed to gather in groups of more than 10 people in public places, citizens are strongly encouraged to use ground transportation and keep a distance of 2 meters from people.

In addition, since March 29, it was decided to strengthen the special quarantine regime, completely stop inter-district and inter-city traffic, except for special-purpose vehicles, suspend customer service at all catering facilities, limit the working hours of the Baku Metro, all boulevards, parks and recreation areas.
